One world foundation for development and civil society care condemns the kidnapping and torturing Ahmad Maher Ibrahim who works as a civil engineer and the real founder of the strike group on the face book website.
 
Ahmad was kidnapped in his way to work by8 people who coerced him to left his car and they have taken him to the police station of Al Qahera Al gadeda where he works.
 
At the police station, Ahmad subjected to many violations as slapping, and insulting, because of his participation in the strike group on face book website, moreover, they ordered him to give them the password of (4th may strike) group, after that he have taken to the security bodies , In addition, they confiscate his camera, and then they left him to go home without any accusation.
 
Ahmad Maher is the real founder of the strike group on the face book. He is 27 years old. He was an ex-member in Al Ghad party and the youth movement for change, in addition, he detained before that during the judges club events 2006, and he kept in Tora prison for weeks, he is married and has a baby girl, this attempt for kidnapping is not the first one.
 
One world confirms that what happened to Ahmad Maher violates the (47) article:  Freedom of opinion shall be guaranteed. Every individual shall have the right to express his opinion and to publicise it verbally, in writing, by photography or by other means of expression within the limits of the law. Self-criticism and constructive criticism shall guarantee the safety of the national structure, and it violates the (49) article that: The State shall guarantee for citizens the freedom of scientific research and literary, artistic and cultural creativity and provide the necessary means for encouraging their realization.
 
Further more, Egypt "s ratification on the international covenant on Civil and Political Rights, makes this covenant commit the local laws to respect it, and article (18) and (19) which confirms on the freedom of thought and conscience has the power of law.
 
What happened to the face book activist from kidnapping and torturing violates the laws, the constitution articles, and the international covenant on civil and political rights.
