Al-Quds media center revealed Saturday that Israeli policemen deliberately desecrate the sanctity of the Aqsa Mosque and urinated in its courtyards and at its gates.
The center asserted that these incidents are documented by the Mosque's guards and reported to the command of the Israeli police, who claimed that they would punish those responsible.
The center noted that the Israeli police command intentionally appoints the most hostile officials who hate Palestinians and Muslims to work inside the Aqsa Mosque, adding that these officials are also among those who assaulted the guards of the holy Mosque on many occasions.
Related, Egyptian lawmaker Ali Laban expressed his dismay at the official Arab and Muslim stance towards Israel’s violations against the Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement, Laban called on Arabs and Muslims to move to save the holy Mosque from collapse and demolition as a result of the continued excavations conducted beneath it.
He suggested the forming of groups or workshorps to work through peaceful means in pressuring their governments, the Islamic research academy, the organization of the Islamic conference and the Arab League to assume their responsibilities and take action towards the dangers threatening the Mosque.
