Unanimous call for Israel to withdraw from occupied lands
In a unanimous vote, leaders from the Middle East and Asia criticised Israel ’s attacks on the Turkish aid ship Miva Marmara which was headed for Gaza
Wednesday, June 9,2010 16:29

They called on the Israelis to end its “inhuman” blockade of the Palestinian territory

Turkey’s President Abdullah Gul during the conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measure in Asia ascertained that there was no way the attack which 20 pro-Palestinian Turkish and internationalactivists were killed would be forgiven. He read a declaration issued by the 20 member forum in which Israel abstained from commenting that all expressed great concern for the actions undertaken by the Israeli defence forces against an international civilian flotilla transporting humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip

Erdogan claimed that Israel would have to pay for killing the Turks and other international peace activists on international waters. He asserted that all who were on board were peace initiating activists from all walks including professors, politicians such as the MB parliamentarians from Egypt lawyers and doctors

The conference which was attended by representatives from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, China, Egypt, India, Iran, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Palestine, Republic of Korea, Russia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan called for  an Israeli withdrawal from all Arab lands occupied in 1967, as a solution to the Palestinian problem
