At a time when Egyptians are living in critical moments, suffering distress and are in the darkest circumstances because of the regime's repressive practices, and at a time when all Egyptians are expected to be united and give priority to the country's supreme interests, the Brothers have noticed that the Egyptian regime is violating the Constitution that provides that civilians are tried before conventional judges and not before military and special courts such as the Emergency State Security Courts which issues harsh sentences against innocent people. Senior members of Egypt’s popular Muslim Brotherhood have been served harsh sentences based on a fabricated testimony made by a police officer against them and they cannot appeal against it, and this has been done in disregard of the constitutional and legal rights of Egyptians.
