Pro-Democracy National Alliance Calls New Revolutionary Protest Week
Egypt's broad-based pro-legitimacy coalition of anti-coup parties and groups exhorts all patriotic citizens to join in The Poor's Voice week of powerful yet peaceful protests.
Saturday, August 30,2014 10:55
The Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance issued the following statement:

To all patriotic revolutionary men and women of Egypt...

The fourth revolutionary wave of peaceful anti-coup defiance achieved its goals thanks to your selfless steadfastness and creative ingenuity. Your powerful revolutionary progress coincided with the joyous celebration – by all the nation – of the Palestinian resistance' victory over the Zionist enemy, and the continued tumbling of the counter-revolution in Libya despite the disgraceful intervention by America's Sisi army. Now, everybody is certain that usurped rights are 'taken' not handed over. The people now record new victories in advance of the nation's ultimate triumph over the American-Zionist axis and its treasonous collaborators. Blessed is your steadfastness and your revolutionary struggle.

The defeat of Netanyahu in Gaza and Haftar in Tripoli is a defeat of their failed fascist ally in Cairo. Meanwhile, the revolutionary resistance across Egypt is escalating and evolving on the way of inevitable victory, God willing. It succeeded in confusing the military junta's heinous schemes and reduced losses and casualties as it progressed in peaceful but persistent defiance in all locations and places throughout the homeland. The circle of popular rage is expanding, forcefully shaking the throne of the fascist junta, notwithstanding the murderous regime's terror and violence and its bogus bloody battalions.

To all free, honorable men and women of Egypt…

March forcefully forward in a new week of revolutionary escalation under the slogan "The Poor's Revolution". Let's mass for powerful action on August 30, the anniversary of the day of rage and martyrs, with a partial strike, and preparations for a fresh revolutionary success, with strong participation in The Poor's Revolt on September 9 as part of the revolutionary build up required for the final decisive victory.

Living in a bubble of illusions, the most fearful fascist failure continues to wreak havoc, selling Egypt off to foreign powers, torturing Egyptians to death, supporting heinous traitors and crushing the poor. The brutal junta is turning this homeland, by sheer force, into a country owned by wealthy tyrants, while the young and the working class people die trampled under the feet of exploitation.

However, the worst crises are uniting Egyptians, who were divided by deceitful junta intrigue. Our meeting point is very close. It is the same point where we oust the brutal junta.

Our rendezvous is September 9.

The Revolution continues… until Cairo is purged and Egyptians rejoice.

Freedom for Egypt… Glory for the martyrs
