The policy of systemized torture continues in the Egyptian Interior Ministry, headed by Habib Al-Adli, as a security force from Imababa police station, a Cairo district, stormed into the house of citizen Ehab Magdi, who appeared while he was tortured by a police officer in a footage that was posted on Ikhwanweb and other websites. The police force raided the house on Friday at dawn and arrested his wife and father who were held in the police station for five hours then they took his brother Mohamed as a hostage until Ehab surrenders. It is worth mentioning that officer implicated in this shameful at of terrorism is called Mohamed Al Shazli .another torture victim Emad Al-Kabir faced a prison sentence. The Egyptian Interior Ministry is apparently committing these exercises in a bid to intimidate and terrorize torture victims to prevent them from suing it or exposing the policemen’s exercises against citizens . An Assistant Interior Minister acknowledged, during an interview in a TV satellite channels that there are torture cases inside police stations, but he claimed that these cases are no more than 1%.
